After surviving divorce and cancer within her daughter's first seven years of life, Sara Olsher made it her mission to help other families facing life's most difficult challenges. She’s a writer, illustrator, and speaker who creates books and visual calendar kits for kids at Mighty + Bright and talks about things that make many people want to crawl into a deep, dark hole. Whether it’s divorce, cancer, or uncertainty, she’s worked hard to be comfortable with the profoundly uncomfortable.
She knows that as parents, we put a ton of pressure on ourselves to do everything "right.” But when life gets tough, we're in survival mode, and that pressure is downright crippling. She’s on a mission to share the simple things that truly matter during a hard time, including open, ongoing communication and fostering connection between parent and child.
